Nestled near the tranquil banks of a lake, this charming property is surrounded by lush gardens that are well looked after. As you relax outdoors, you can observe monkeys playing. the rooms, though small, are clean, equipped with comfortable bedding and modern bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff serve a hearty breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit. You may rent a bike to explore the nearby area or go on a lovely walking trail.
Service at the restaurant can be erratic. Waiting times for meals can vary.

My recent stay at Philo Leisure Gardens was exceptional. The beautiful grounds provided ample space to relax and enjoy the playful monkeys. Although the initial appearance of the rooms was daunting, they were actually quite comfortable and well-equipped, even including a working TV. The breakfast spread was delicious and generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location on Ssese Island was perfect, with a lovely garden and cozy rooms. Another highlight was the affordable bike rental, allowing me to explore the surroundings. I would highly recommend this hotel.
While my stay at Philo Leisure Gardens was wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. The WiFi was unreliable, only occasionally working in the reception area.

Spent Easter at a beautiful hotel in the heart of a lush green garden. The serene location was ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, providing excellent service. the rooms were cozy and comfortable with great views of the surrounding nature.
The Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable in all areas of the hotel, including the main reception. the food service was slow and it took a while for our orders to be prepared and served.

I spent my Christmas holiday in an amazing place on an island. the environment was great for camping; we had bonfires every night! the prices for activities and the menu were very good. I also enjoyed watching the stars at night. I found the staff to be available and nice too. They picked me up from the ferry when I arrived, and the breakfast and restaurant were really good. the room was comfortable and had a quality mosquito net. I loved the fresh breeze of oxygen from the garden.
The location was a bit off; I prefer sitting by the lake and viewing water which was not possible at the hotel.
